The Mexican

A Monterrey inspired restaurant serving heritage recipes in a modern baroque hacienda decor.”

About the Resaurant:

Owned by Roberto González Alcalá, a native of Monterrey, Mexico, the Mexican in Dallas, Texas serves steakhouse classics with a high end brutalist flare. Alcalá is the son of the late Roberto González Barrera, former CEO of the Mexican company Gruma. The restaurant is a delight to the senses with high marks for gorgeous design. Each detail of the decor pays a subtle homage to aspects of traditional Mexican art and Architecture. We recommend the Aguachile de Ribeye, the White Prawns a la Roca, the Cuatro Leches cake, and the Frida Margarita
